The Common Lizard Box #5369

The 2021 ‘Critter’ Collection.

‘Grande’ Style box in Elm – Common Lizard

The Common lizard, seen here nestling in the groove on the top of this Elm Box,  might be common, that is widespread in the UK, but it is actually very unusual because it is ‘viviparous’ (ie. it gives birth to live young). Look closely and you will agree  that there is nothing ‘common’ about Lynn’s wonderful Stoneware version either

This extremely complicated box has two lift up end keys, a sliding lid, an inner lid, an internal key which allows access to the hidden drawer on the lower level, a small  drawer and, finally (phew!) a mini box with its own key and sliding lid. Please remember that the drawer and mini box are designed to be used separately from the main box.
