Medio Style Box in Spalted beech – Blue tit and nestlings.

I really didn’t know how Lynn Hazel would react to this very strange looking construction – a black knot in a lump of Spalted Beech, laminated onto a rather plain looking asymmetrical box, with a lidded space let into the top. I hope you will agree with me that popping a Blue tit into the knot hole and nestlings in the space behind is an inspired idea.

The box underneath is, compared to many others in this collection, relatively simple – a lift out tray and ‘secret’ drawer. Please remember that the tray and drawer do not have to ‘live’ in the box, they can be used separately.

There is no charge for an inscription on the base.
